Materials
Nordic Line Nordic Line leather has been corrected — the surface of the hide is sanded smooth to remove imperfections and natural marks, and then a consistent grain pattern is embossed onto the surface. This gives the leather a very even, consistent appearance and feel. Nordic Line has a pigment layer on the surface, as well as a clear protective layer for greater durability.
Soft Line Soft Line leather is uncorrected, meaning the surface of the hide has not been sanded smooth to remove imperfections and natural marks. This gives the leather natural variation in grain, and an improved look and feel. The top grain leather has been stretched and flattened at the tannery for a smoother appearance. Soft Line has a pigment layer on the surface, as well as a clear protective layer for greater durability.
Astro Line Astro Line leather is uncorrected, meaning the surface of the hide has not been sanded smooth to remove imperfections and natural marks. This top grain leather has been allowed to shrink at the tannery for a grainier, more varied appearance. Some surface pigments have been applied to to even out tones, mask blemishes and make it more resistant to liquids.
Fabric Our fabric collection has been tested and approved in accordance with the Norwegian Møbelfakta quality requirements. Møbelfakta tests and approves fabrics in accordance with Norwegian and international standards (NS, EN and ISO).
