River Street Gallery

In 2003, we renovated a former workspace in our building into an expansive, loft-like showroom… and a gallery was born. River Street Gallery showcases fine art and craft by regional artists in combination with high-quality, artisan-made furniture in a warm and welcoming environment.

Kate Paranteau, our Creative Director and Gallery Director, provides the vision for the gallery and curates all exhibitions. By showing furniture and accessories side-by-side with fine art, she hopes to show visitors how original artwork can enhance a home and to demystify the process of collecting art and fine crafts.

We kicked off our inaugural exhibition in March of 2004 – a show of 20 Fair Haven-based artists titled The Artists of Dragon, in honor of an old name for our neighborhood. Since that auspicious start, we’ve presented four or five shows each year. Browse through images from our past shows here, and then stop by to see our current show in person. Can’t wait to see you!
